About
I am an Executive Coach with global experience. I help leaders develop their EQ and evolve their leadership skills to reflect inclusive and empathetic supervision while working on enhancing their careers.
I completed my coaching certification program from Rutgers, which was offered in collaboration with Heidrick and Struggles. I have also obtained the Associate Coach credential from ICF.
My coaching career is an outcome of my vast and varied experience (28 years) in Organization Development, spanning two countries – the USA and India. As an HR/OD executive and consultant, I worked extensively with managers from all levels in nonprofit and for-profit organizations. In my various roles as a learning and development professional, I have observed that executives need constant support and guidance to overcome interpersonal and emotional challenges and meet the expectations of their organizations. There has been a rise in Emotional distress partly due to the competitive work environment, where failure is not an option and success is not guaranteed.
As a career and leadership enhancement coach, I have had consistent success coaching, mentoring, and training executives. I am able to facilitate holistic growth because of my concentrated education in Psychology. I have coached executives across a broad spectrum of companies - International Labor Organization, Oxfam, Metropolitan Council in Minnesota, Pricewaterhouse SDC, India, General Motors, and JP Morgan Chase to overcome challenges from situations they faced at work due to progression, relocation, interpersonal conflict/group dynamics or personal inadequacies. I have also enabled clients to improve their professional and personal effectiveness by working on feedback styles, Cross-cultural communication, Relocation adjustments, and Anxiety reduction techniques. Clients include senior professionals at the VP level, Heads of schools (India), Graduate students from Rutgers University and Braven, United Healthcare SSEU 1199.
I have a PhD in Organizational Behavior and an MA in Applied Psychology.. I also have several professional certifications, including MBTI, Intercultural Development Inventory, Cognitive Behavior therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, and 500-hour certification in Yoga and Mindfulness. These areas of study have added to my repertoire of skills and have proved very beneficial to my clients in dealing with the complexities of life and relationships
